What kind of food can get better

The formation of excess weight - the result of the fact that a person consumes a larger number of calories compared with the amount that he spends.

Formation of excess weight

If the caloric intake of a person significantly exceeds his energy expenditure over a long period of time, the excess calorie intake will inevitably turn into fat reserves. By and large, in this respect, it does not matter in principle what kind of foodstuffs accumulate this excess calories: it can also be formed due to the consumption of hamburgers, and due to excessive eating of buckwheat porridge.
Nevertheless, it is necessary to take into account that different foods have different calories. Therefore, it is much easier for those who prefer high-calorie foods to exceed their calorie intake than for those who prefer low-calorie foods. This is especially true if it is not about an episodic event, for example, a birthday or other holiday, but about the constant principle of forming a diet.
So, first of all, the composition of the foods you eat plays a role. It should be remembered that fats are the most energy-intensive type of product: one gram of this substance contains about 9 kilocalories. Therefore, as a result, products with a high content of fat are the most high-calorie. But proteins and carbohydrates in one gram of the substance contain about 4 kilocalories, so the consumption of almost twice as many of them will provide the human body with the same calorie in comparison with the consumption of fat.

Hazardous products

Thus, the most dangerous from the point of view of the formation of excess weight are foods high in fat: for example, these include fatty cheeses and sausages, confectionery, which often contain butter cream, and nuts, in which the fat content reaches half the net weight of the product .
From this point of view, eating foods rich in proteins and carbohydrates looks preferable. However, it should be borne in mind that carbohydrates have an unequal ability to be deposited in fat: the so-called complex carbohydrates, which are contained in cereals, legumes and vegetables are split in the digestive tract for a long time, during which people usually have time to spend the energy they contain.
